See the comment made at 12:00pm on 20th Febuary to <a href="http://iaindale.blogspot.com/2009/02/labour-ukip-voters-turn-to-bnp-in-kent.html">this posting</a> in <a href="http://iaindale.blogspot.com/">Iain Dale's Diary</a>:<br /><br /><em>“These working class bigots are not people the Tory party should be chasing”</em><br /><br />This from a person who elsewhere in the comments claims to be a Conservative Party activist!<br /><br />First; to my mind, if the Conservative Party doesn’t speak for all of us, it speaks for none of us.<br /><br />Second; to dismiss a large section of the white working class as “bigots” is to totally miss the point. Here is a section of society which feels that none of the major parties is standing up for them. Whatever your view of the BNP might be, the fact is that they are promoting a simple, clear message.<br /><br />So where’s the Conservative Party? Who is setting out to reject and refute BNP propaganda? Who is vigorously defending Christian, western, enlightened values? I don’t actually know what Conservative policy is on most issues. I listened to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Miliband</span> on the radio trying to justify the exclusion of <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Geert</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">Wilders</span>. Jacqui Smith has been caught with her nose in the trough. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">Has there ever been a time when the three great offices of state have been occupied by such shallow, worthless individuals?</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">And who does the BBC field to speak about <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">Geert</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5">Wilders</span>? Lord Ahmed and Keith <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6">Vaz</span>!
